Some midi loft bunk beds with storage include a desk built in (as illustrated above) however, other models, like our Luna midi-bunk, have the ladder on the right side so that the table can be put on the left. It is important to note that the majority of Midi loft beds with desks require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with an slatted wooden base. The cost of the bed does not include the mattress. We recommend looking at our mattress deals to find one that will fit your budget.

Mattress
Most midi beds can accommodate standard UK single mattresses, and the top bunk comes with the safety rail to give you extra peace of mind. 2ft 6 mid sleeper cabin bed have the option of a pull-out trundle drawer which can be used for sleepovers or to create additional storage space underneath the bed. They can be opened or equipped with a door (please look at the product details for more information).
Many midi cabins include a desk that can be moved from one level to the next or chests. This gives children a customized space to store all their belongings, meaning that there's no need to take up valuable floor space with heavy shelving units or wardrobes.
A few of the models have even taken it a step further with cabinets that are flush mounted or is part of the headboard/footboard. This is ideal for storage of toys and books.
